Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.
Working knowledge of balance sheet and profit and loss statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
Revenue recognition pursuant to ASC 606.
Perform budget and trend analysis, including EACs and cost reports.
May design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions.
Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures.
Month end close reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Support Management in preparation of ad-hoc reporting.
A minimum of Bachelor s degree in a business related field preferred.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic atmosphere is essential.
Must be computer literate, intermediate to advanced Excel, working knowledge of a fully integrated accounting system.
Must have excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Must have solid organization/planning and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) a plus.
