Staffing Resources in Wabash, Indiana is hiring for a shipping and receiving employee at a local aluminum plant. These positions require employees to work well within a team and in a fast paced environment. Positions are eligible for Direct Hire after a probationary period. Interested candidates must have open shift availability.
Pay: $24.12 with shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Clean the plant area, to include but not restricted to around shipping areas, material bays, bag storage, material storage, north and south lots, shipping offices, and plant truck dock areas.
• Operate a wheel loader, preform pre-shift inspection.
• Operate an excavator with a hammer, Perform pre-shift inspection.
• Assist loader operator including filling in as needed or directed.
• Assist in the proper procedures for dumping and loading material.
• Assist in the proper procedures for weighing materials.
• Assist in the proper procedures for placing material in its proper location.
• Assist in the proper procedures for cleaning South and North lots.
• Assist in the proper procedures for driving Roll-off truck and forklift.
• Follow all safety rules, regulations, and policies of the company.
• Assist in the proper procedures of weighing inbound and outbound loads.
• 12. Completing inbound and outbound shipment paperwork.
• Ensure load placement and accuracy.
• Maintaining safe and environmentally sound behavior and ensuring that proper work procedures and practices are followed.
