NSC Technologies has upcoming needs for Riggers to support the Norfolk Ship Repair location on the 2nd Shift.
Rigger Job Description:
Must have experience with assembling rigging to lift and move equipment or material.
Must be familiar with types of cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves according to weight and size of load to be moved.
Must be familiar with all hand signals to direct overhead crane operators properly.
Shipyard experience is required, along with rigging certifications.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment screen, including background and drug testing.
Per diem is offered for Non-Local candidates.
Must be a U.S. DBIDS Eligible.
