NSC Technologies is currently hiring a Pipefitter for an upcoming project in Norfolk, Virginia Area. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Pipefitter.

Essential Job Functions Pipefitter
To repair, rebuild, or overhaul all types of piping systems from portal water, CHT, flange targeting, rip out, and bending of pipe.
Able to read and interpret test procedures.
Able to fit x-ray.
Able to prep and fit-up EB rings.
Able to prep and fit up backing rings.
Ability to clean cut/break pipe with a grinder.
Ability to hand prep J bevels.
Ability to sliver braze
Qualified to hand prep V bevels
Experience in the fabrication various details and assemblies from CAPDAMS, MMAP, DS Drawings, sketches, or arrangement drawings.
Ability to bend pipe from the template and use a hand blender.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and shop sketches
Build fixtures and various holding devices as needed to hold or support workpieces in the process
Analyze job requirements and use best shop practices to meet drawing requirements in the most efficient time
