Job Description
ULG Staffing, a subsidiary of NSC, has immediate openings for Pipe Welders in Portland, OR
Pay: $26/hr. + $160 per diem
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a first class pipe welder in the ship repair industry
- Must have all tools necessary to accomplish pipe welding, i.e. electrode holder, gloves and weld shield
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work aboard marine vessels, climb ladders, work in tanks and confined spaces and wear PPE
- Must be able to weld certify:
- Carbon Steel
- Stick and wire
- Required to have visual acuity to perform an activity such as operating machines where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach or performing mechanical or skilled trades tasks of a non-repetitive nature.
