Job Description
NSC Technologies is currently hiring Fitter Welders in Northeast Wisconsin. The ideal candidate must have 2-5 years of experience.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for the practical layout, fabrication, assembly, and welding of immersion tanks, spray washers, industrial ovens, booths, walkways, support structure, mechanical equipment, and misc. fabricated assemblies for industrial finishing systems.
- Fitter-Welders must be fluent in and able to read and interpret layout and detail drawings, as well as possess accurate marking, measuring and shop math skills.
- Must have experience fabricating parts and welding with a mixture of mild, carbon, and alloy steel and the various grades of stainless steel.
PHYSICAL TASKS INCLUDE:
- Must be able to stand for a minimum of up to 10 hours per day, with frequent kneeling, crawling or climbing.
- Frequent bending, twisting, reaching and grasping.
- Frequently lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Must have good eyesight with the ability to read drawings, small print, and see workpieces clearly
Education/Training required:
