Job Description
Staffing Resources, a subsidiary of NSC has immediate openings for a Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians in Frankfort, IN.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for accomplishing preventative maintenance work in accordance with company safety standards, with the highest quality and in a professional manner.
Pay: $20-$25/HR
Shift: 2nd and 3rdshift available
Position Qualifications
- Maintenance/mechanical education or equivalent of 3+ years’ manufacturing maintenance experience
- Understand and demonstrate proper use of safety equipment and procedures
- Knowledge in wiring outlets, lighting, panels, and electric hand tools including color code identification.
- Knowledgeable in repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
- Reading and understanding advanced machine blueprints and schematics and work order and specifications.
- Be able to communicate clearly with management team on work updates
- Completing all job specific paperwork correctly, including computer systems
Principal responsibilities
- Perform advanced machining, welding, and fabrication.
- Dismantle and reassemble machines and machine parts.
- Perform construction and plumbing techniques.
- Perform advanced fabrication repairs on metal.
- Perform fire safety and other safety requirements such as lock out / tag out.
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining gas and electric fork truck and other powered equipment.
- Reading and understanding advanced machine blueprints and schematics and work order and specifications.
- Performing tests on and replacing/adjusting electrical motors and sensors.
