Job Title: Grant Writer – Part-time
Pay rate: $25-28 per hour
Job Summary:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deliver information in a clear and persuasive manner to generate enthusiasm.
College degree in Creative Writing, English, Writing, Communications, Marketing or related field and 2 years plus in successful grant-writing experience. Certification in grant writing or communications.

Job Title: Grant Writer – Part-time

Job Summary:

- Strong presentation skills and the ability to deliver information in an easy-to-understand format and Excellent story telling skills.
- The ability to illustrate the goals and benefits of the organizations work.
- Excellent organizational, research and time management skills.
- Must be highly motivated to seek out new funding leads.
- Draft grant proposals and supporting documents and submit to grant coordinators for approval.
- Manage grant proposals including grant research, writing and submission.
- Research grant opportunities from government agencies and private foundations.
- Follow up on funding leads and pursue multiple avenues to secure funding.
- Create communications outlining how the organization will be a good steward of funding awards.
