NSC Technologies is currently hiring for an Electrical Engineer in Calvert, AL for a Manufacturing/Industrial Facility!

Electrical Engineer

Technical Leadership of the site wide electrical
Ensuring the readiness and availability of the electrical functionality of the production lines
Ensuring the utilization and availability of Electrical Spare Parts under the point quality and costs
Analyze short term and long-term data to detect trends and shifts in process
Research industry best practices, troubleshoot and detect process failure modes
Ensuring the coordination and cooperation with the Specialists Mechanical Maintenance for the area

Take part in the daily meetings and briefings on maintenance situations
Clarify sources for maintenance disturbances in cooperation with the mechanical maintenance personnel
Support unscheduled maintenance activities direct at the lines together with the shift electricians
Planning of the fixed maintenance line break downs regarding the whole electrical activities
Take care and support the SAP PM System regarding electrical maintenance items
Fulfills the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Fulfills the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality Commitment
Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment that embodies trust and respect
Ensure working knowledge of competencies as defined in ISO 14001: 2015, IATF 16949: 2016 and ISO 17025: 2017

Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electricity, or Equivalent Experience.

3 years electrical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Knowledge in power feeding and distribution systems
Knowledge in motors and drives and technological functions
Knowledge in sensor actor systems, field bus systems, (Profibus, CAN bus, decentralized I/O Systems (ET200)
Knowledge in process data acquisition systems (IBA), HMI Systems (FactoryLink)
Knowledge in network technology (Ethernet)
Knowledge in PID Loop Controls
Understanding of standard programming principles and practices to include logical instances and cycles; calling functions and modular programming for logic reuse
Competencies in multiple programming platforms with use of ladder logic, function block and textual/statement list logic
Understanding of different memory types and their uses in a control system
Knowledge in X-Ray measurement systems
Knowledge in SAP, Microsoft Office Products

Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Able to competently handle a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Demonstrates strong work ethic and displays a high degree of professionalism
Interest and ability to work at our site location in Calvert, Alabama
