Job Description
Pay Rate: $25-$35
The Construction Operator will have the opportunity to run various projects in San Diego INCLUDING PREVAILING WAGE demolition jobs, government contracts, and emergency service jobs with some opportunity for travel. Must be punctual, dependable, and collaborates well with team members. Applicant must be a quick learner while maintaining attention to detail and be willing to take constructive feedback.

Job Responsibility
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
- Acceptable DMV record to drive company vehicles and equipment
- Experience operating construction related equipment including bobcat, skid steer, excavator, mini excavator, etc
- Must have experience performing grading and finishing, sloping and banking, backfilling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating and stockpiling
- Willingness to operate heavy equipment for long periods with continuous attention to detail and safety
- Knowledge of proper equipment maintenance to ensure equipment is in good working order at all times
- Able to read project plans and blueprints
- Ensures a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task
- Properly follows all company policies and OSHA/Cal OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment
- Flexible schedule: able to work long hours, weekends, holidays, and on call for emergency service calls
- Ability to work in other company departments when called on for misc. job scopes
- Willing to perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy construction project
- Maintains project timeliness and costs by coordinating with Estimators, Project Managers, Foremen, and crew members
