Job Description
POSITION/TITLE: 3rd Class Electrician
POSITION SUMMARY:
Performs all duties required to layout, fabricate, and install electrical wiring or coaxial cable. Cuts wires to length, strips insulation from wire ends, and insulates connections with plastic sleeves. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
RESPONSIBILITES /DUTIES:
Possess skills and abilities to perform the basic requirements of an electrician’s trade with supervision or guidance. Expected to follow drawings, specifications, technical manuals, design notices, etc. Have an understanding in the use basic tools of their trade associated with electrical installations of cable and mounting of equipment.

High School, GED, or Navy “C” School,
